Jazz Ensembles

Jazz at Bellevue East High School includes 3 curricular jazz bands. Students are placed in the 3 bands through a competitive placement audition process. Our jazz bands meet on an alternating block schedule and they perform at several jazz festivals annually. The jazz curriculum includes a heavy dose listening, daily improvisation, and jazz ensemble performance skills.
