Bellevue East High School's Instrumental Music Program is regarded as one of the school's most diversified and successful programs. Its concert bands, marching band, jazz bands, percussion program, and color guard program make it one of the most active programs in Nebraska. The program is designed to allow all students to participate in performance groups and gain a comprehensive music education.
Bellevue East has approximately 200 students participating in the instrumental music program. The role of all of East's co-curricular music groups is to provide students with an opportunity to expand their musical knowledge, technical proficiency, and performance experience.
